1 In terms of psychology you've simply accepted a presupposition. In order to overcome it just analyze what clues that fortuneteller may have noticed and what switches she may have used to make you so impressed with her prediction.
2 I agree to DreamTheater. The first thing you need to do is to convince yourself or simply understand that this prediction is just words, and nothing more. Or better - forget about it.
3 To my mind, you shouldn't believe in these predictions, even if they really happened and were true with other people...There is such a thing - that if you believe in smth, this law acts... When people believe in superstitions, they really work...and quite the contrary... So, build your life as you wish and stop thinking about the fortuneteller's predictions...
