6 Besides Google books, you can also do this on Amazon ... they have a Search Inside the Book feature. There are millions of books that are cataloged. The problem with a device like what you have described is that it would need information about the book ... essentially, the book would need to be scanned. That's primarily what the Amazon feature does.
