1 Maybe it's just an assumption, but I think all the vegetarians are very slim, if not to say skinny. Because vegetarian food does not contain elements necessary for muscles to appear, or smthng like that.
3 I understand where you're coming from in being kind to living beings and other species. However, a majority of the produce that is sold and eaten world wide is sprayed with fertilizers, steroids, and pesticides. When those are digested, your body consumes those foreign objects as well. Unless you grow your own garden, you cannot avoid the harmful man-made chemicals that are supposed to benefit the profits of the farmers. I eat meat, but I could easily become a vegetarian. I am also naturally thin with a high metabolism. Eating vegetarian does not give me enough protein to sustain the day. I think you have a kind heart, but to expand your thoughts, do more research.
5 @Pipiete et al.: thanks for your valuable comments.
But you know, in India most people don't eat meat because of their religion, and are healthy enough.
oh well, maybe vegetarian diet can be of much use of those wishing to loose surplus weight.
