Summary of the idea/dream: When you're in hurry you have trouble finding what you need it adds more stress if everything around is a total mess. Why is it stressful and how to cope with it?
If your home or office has piles of papers and other stuff lying around, it is not just offensive to your eyes but also a sneaky source of stress. Clutter often creates a feeling that there is no time to do it all and may cause anxiety especially when you are on a deadline or get home dead from work. But don't despair that fast, here are three key ways to prevent stress caused by mess:
1. Designate a place for everything
By establishing a special place for things that enter your space - such as mail, photographs, bills and other paperwork you'll be able to put them away quickly and easily find them again later.
2. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or loved.
Evaluate everything that's taking up your space according to these 3 criteria (useful, beautiful, loved). If a thing doesn't meet at least one of them, let it go...and be merciless.
3. Make stacks easy to deal with.
If you must live with some visible piles during a busy period, at least try to
