This is a passionate dream I have.......to see Avalon. Hardly there is a person who hasn't heard about this legendary location. It is said to be the place where the body of King Arthur is buried. He was supposedly brought there via boat by his half sister, Morgan le Fay. According to some legends Arthur merely sleeps there, to awaken at some future time. Intriguing!

But where is it situated? It is suppoed to be Glastonbury......a former island in the Somerset Levels. This is a lively town, with rich traditions from yestercenturies. It has been a famous pilgrimage place since ancient times, a Druidic centre and one of Europe's great medieval abbeys. For centuries it has been a mecca to creative and spirited people of many persuasions - an interfaith town with a mixture of locals and incomers, Christians and 'spiritual independents'. This is the location the thought about which brings the excitement to my mind..........I dream about seeing it.......to learn everything I would be
