Popularity is a massively serious business and a lot of people sink too low to get it and keep it. It happens everywhere in all social levels and groups and at all ages and generations. Let's take schools or colleges when popularity obsession beats all records. Turn up in the wrong clothes, a pair of jeans too high around the waist or last year's sneakers and you'll be having lunch with your friends' backs.
