This joke is played on a drunk person at a party. Prepare beforehand an empty bottle of cognac, fill it with tea. At the height of the revelry open this bottle and pour out into glasses.
Needless to say you should let everybody know (except the victim) that it's tea, but ask them to pretend that they drink real cognac and even praise its good quality.
It would be very amusing to watch reaction of the drunk victim!
