You now, I always was good at growing up plants, but I have never tried to grow any vegetables in winter.
There are a lot of flowers in my home and I don't mind pottering in the garden, but I want some thing special.
So my idea is growing the strawberries in the winter….. mmmm it would be perfect! If I have any result, I mean bad or good, I'll tell you about it, at least share with my experience.
As I heard, to grow strawberries in winter you should dig up some bushes and put into the refrigerator in the lowest box and keep them in dark. Of course if you refrigerator has freezer in the bottom is better not putting it there. Then put out in 2-3 month and plant on the window, provide it with warmth and light. The last thing is pollination, there are any bees in winter, I plan to help with paint brash.
Well, if you have any success stories write to me, I'll appreciate that very much!
