Playing drums is a traditional art of Brazilians. Today it's still very popular, especially among the youth. There are some drum schools in Brazil, plus some professionals give private lessons of drums. However there is no drum academy in Brazil, although there are several in the States.
My dream is that a State Drum Academy of Brazil was established. There all professional drummers would gather and teach playing drums to the youth.
Though performing arts is not a profitable profession in Brazil, I would certainly enter this academy as a student.
