One my German penpal wrote me his story. When he went to North America to work there, he decided to tell his American co-workers German history. He started recounting them that Germany constantly was at enmity with France in past. Hereto receives serious answer: "Ohh that seems to be very difficult, taking into consideration the distance between countries". Then added: "You had to reach France throughout Russia to fight, after all". Shocked German got explanation: it turned out that Germany located somewhere near by Korea. Co-workers even adduced proofs: "Germany carried war conjointly with Japan during World War 2, so they are close. And Germany was at war with Russia, and then they are close too. It turns out that Germany is somewhere near by Korea".
Really funny co-workers…
