Greetings ppl! Do you like luge? As for me, I do, but you know, when watching it on TV, even if within the framework of the Olympics, you cannot grasp all those thrilling emotions quasi you would be sliding down on a sled yourself!
Just recently I tries sledding, and found it really wonderful!
For information - a luge is small one- or two-person sled on which one sleighs supine and feet-first. Historical findings point to the existence of sleds, as early as AD 800 with the Vikings.
Steering is done by flexing the sled's runners or pulling straps attached to the sled's runners.
But you know, when I tried to steer, an idea came to my mind! What if to make sleds with remote control?! It would be just nice, you are sliding down some hill or special trace and when need to turn to the left or right, you simply press this or that button. You are sliding and relaxing! It would remind game with joystick!
