You know of course that alchemists think it is possible to convert some primary matter to any substance you wish by means of adding certain qualities? Recently I reread some works of alchemists and it gave me a dream to develop their ideas using modern knowledge and science, but basing on their beliefs and conclusions. Just imagine - what if simple sand, for example, could be transformed to mineral oil by some wonderful transformations of the structure of molecules? That would mean the solution for the world fuel crisis. But I think there is no need to provide some more examples. The advantages are too obvious. So many problems of humanity could be solved if we could turn something that is too much around into something of a real need.
