Summary of the idea/dream: Use my tips to care of your knives in a proper way!
Knife is one of the most necessary and important kitchen tools. The quality of a dish in many respects depends on a knife state. Agree, it's much more pleasant to cut products quickly and without pains, rather than "saw" them. Sharp knives save your time and diminish the danger of an accident.

So, to keep knives sharp, you should care of them in a proper way. I am ready to give you a couple of tips about their caring:
Many pros recommend to sharpen knives every day - just a few movements of a blade against a knife-grinder. Other recommendation is to soothe a blade by steel.
Keep knives in a safe place, where they don't touch with other kitchen utensils. It will save you from sharpening them oftener.
Always use a board, esp. when cut on a metal table.
To avoid skid of a board along smooth surface of a table, put a damp towel or a ribbon rug under it.
A handle of a knife should be dry and clean.
