Here are some tips on how you can pinpoint your passion for activities that will help you achieve your goal or just make you happier:
Write down activities you spend a lot of time on, such as working or cooking meals, and then respond to the following questions with YES or No to each. If you answer yes to four or more of these statements, you're passionate about the endeavour and should try to do it more often. If you have nothing but No's, seek your passion in other pursuits and strive to either minimize or improve those activities that leave you cold and uninterested.
1. When you perform this task, do you often lose track of time?
2. Does this activity spark your creative side? For example, are you constantly finding ways of doing it better or differently?
3. Do you tend to daydream about it when you're not doing it? Do you look forward to experiencing it over and over?
4. Does it energize you?
5. Does it feel more like play than work?
