Valentine's Day is approaching and the matter of current importance now is choosing a present for our beloved.
I have an idea how to make an original present - it's a notebook, covered by cork plates.
To make it you will need: a notebook, corks after bottles of champagne or wine, glue for wood, blade or penknife.

Slit corks in a way to get 2 plates with prominent surface and 2 with flat one. Glue over the surface of the notebook with flat plates, and the back - with prominent ones. The notebook is ready!
By the way, you may write down some wish for your beloved in the notebook, then it would be even more pleasant for him/her to get such a present!
