Spending the New Year party on a disco or in a rock-club is too boring for New Year 2006. Remember, our ancestors 200, 500, 1000 years ago used to hang out in an absolutely different way - they had pompous balls in large flamboyant halls where live renaissance music was performed and exquisite dishes were served. There they danced in pairs, drank natural wine, duelled, declaimed romantic poetry and proposed marriages. They were dressed in fabulous clothing embroyded with glimmering gems and gold, and every step of theirs was full of grace and dignity.
My crazy idea is arranging a similar New Year 2006 party in a medieval castle, restoring that lofty atmoshpere of our noble past, at least for one night of the New Year.
