My idea is using explosive weapons like missles and bombs for neutralizing typhoons. Basically typhoons arise because of the pressure differences between vast masses of air.
So, in order to stop a typhoon this difference of pressures should be neutralized.
When an explosion occures, it creates a huge area of vacuum, which is also a significant pressure difference, undermining the typhoon's strength.
This way when used properly mighty explosions can neutralize typhoons.
