My crazy idea of the "next generation" of musical instruments is a dynamic computer-based music composer [not a simple synthesiser] created on the basis of musical rules used by professional classical, jazz, folk and rock performers. This music composer would create random tunes following the music-composing schemes programmed in it, each time it would be something special, perhaps not equal to the genius of Bach, Beethoven or Mozart, but composed in the image and likeness of their music.
