Yesterday it was a birthday of one of my younger brothers. A lot of guests were invited, all of his friends, schoolmates, our neighbors. And of course we prepared a huge birthday cake. I was responsible for cutting it to equal pieces. The cake was so beautiful and funny, decorated with candy figures of cars, caramel roads and marsh-mallow buildings. Looked like a small sweet city! I was so nervous of cutting it, because I was afraid of destroying decorations. And though the knife was sharp, anyways the form was spoiled. This gave me an idea that it would be good if some device, maybe even knife-like, would be invented that cut everything with no force applied but maybe using energy, or temperature. Sounds like laser, I know. But lasers can cut solid matters. And usual cake does not require that much of energy at all. But if cut in such a way cake will keep it's form and will bring joy and beauty! :)
