I have one else wise advice…or question…or don't know what !!!
But do you like rice? Boiled but fresh, crumbly, snow-white or when grains are stuck together in the process of boiling and acquire the yellowish tint. Probably the first version you like most.
So, to preserve it snowy-white drop some drops of lemon juice into the boiling water, don't close a pot you used until all the water is boiled away from the rice. Then close it and leave for several minutes at reduced fire. Oh, by the way it will be better if you do not stir it while boiling but just shake the pot from time to time.
I used this method many times and always have perfect result, believe me!
