My new idea is attaching electronic picks to traditional Slavonik instrument balalaika. There are bass-balalaikas and regular balalaikas, 3-stringed and 6-stringed ones, but the instrument itself didn't progress at all. I should say it's sound-producing abilities are already great, balalaika has a rich voice and can be played really fast.
However, an electronic pick and processor would enhance its scope aloud, adding all these fat teasing modulations of an electronic guitar
