Well, before putting flowers in a vase you are recommended to add the following substances to water for choice.

Suppose everybody has some sugar at home. It will be the best "savior" of your flowers. Add a teaspoon of sugar to a liter of water and stir everything thoroughly.

Also, you can use a little of glucose, glycerin or spirit. Or just, put into water an aspirin tablet.

Try and you'll see that these simple ideas will help to prolong beauty of your flowers!
