Sometimes excessive honesty and frankness are considered to be bad traits of character. Coz most people don't like when they are said the truth to their face, especially in a sharp manner.

You call a spade a spade, and many like you for this very trait. People feel secure with you, coz don't wait from you rumoring with anybody behind their back.
The most important thing is that sincerity is great for your health. When we don't suppress our emotions, it's the guarantee against neuroses. And remember, not everyone adores flattery and compliments. Honesty and frankness are your advantages, don't depreciate them.
