Summary of the idea/dream: Nobody is perfect and we all tend to make mistakes be that work, friendship or relationship. The last ones require special prudence so here is how you can smooth things over...
1.Apologize as soon as possible.
Honestly admit your gaffe by saying you were either nervous, upset, tired, temporarily brain-dead (whatever your fantasy ia about) and ended up doing something out of my character. Your confession shows that you recognise your silly behaviour. Plus you may even evoke a little empathy.
2. Make it up to him by showing your true colors. For example, if you filled his ears the night before with a long list of personal problems, spend the next couple of dates subtly encouraging him to do most of the talking. Once he sees that you're not a chronic complainer he will realize your freaks were a one-time occurrence.
3. Play it cool
Wait a week, then assess where you stand. If your union is back on track or you two are able to joke about what happened, it's cool! But if he seems iffy about hanging out or won't let you have fun the next times you meet, concede your defeat and move on.
Try not to heap your guy with your problems. When you are
