Wax statues are ok, but ain't much fun as long as you only can watch them or take pictures with them. It would be much more fun if they moved and breathed, spoke, grimaced and interacted in other ways with visitors of museums.
Another kind of statues I would really adore would be edible ones, moulded from chocolate, sugar candies or pastry.
Basically every day of the year is a birthday of some famous person and my dream is that municipal authorities produced a big edible statue in order to honor the memory of each famous person and put it in the streets so that anyone could take a piece of it, joining the feast
This way the children would get acquainted with all these famous people from their early years and associate their birthdays with sweet memories of the feast
