Hello, Dreamcast. I have been very glad to discover a site of associates, where we could share our ideas and ask for advice or recommendation. Several years ago I read a novel of American science-fiction writer. There was being described very interesting regatta in Space along the orbit of the Earth. As a driving force it was being applied not wind but the light of Sun. The question is that the light of Sun has pressure, although it is very weak. Space yachts in that novel had canvas of huge square by way of catching the most possible quantity of light. So the rays of Sun were pressing on canvas making yachts move.

Since than I have never been left by "crazy" idea of developing that technology and adapting it in accordance with terrestrial conditions. I realize that terrestrial magnetism is a serious obstacle for it, but it is always possible to come up with idea of decreasing its influence. For instance we could use very light-weight materials (canvas could be made of light but
