You can say that you are on a diet while talking with your friends or colleagues (women of course) and they look at you with respect. If you haven't decided yet which diet to choose, I'd like to give you some ideas:
Dividing diet
The sense of this diet is that each hour (during 10 hours active day) you should eat any product for 100 kilocalories. It can be, for example, 100 gram cooked fish or chicken breast (or even low fat pork), 1egg, 1 sausage, 300 gram vegetable's mixture, 300-500 gram vegetables. Or 2 sweets, glass of milk, 200 gram fruits (but 100 gram bananas or grapes).
Don't combine products, you can allow yourself to eat anything within 100 kilocalories (even cake with cream but it will be the 25 gram little piece). Drink as much as you want but not more then 2 liters per 24 hours. It's interesting that efficiency of this diet increases if you eat vegetables 3 times out of 10, and drink green tea.
