Summary of the idea/dream: Hand-made jam is not only delicious, but very rich in vitamins! Don't be lazy, make it from time to time!
Do you like jam? I think "yes", but more often we are lazy to cook it, coz it's much easier to go to a supermarket and buy some nice jam. but you know, recently I tried to cook jam myself and know what?! Hand-made jam is much more delicious! No doubt, it takes time and pains to make it, but I think that you should try to make it, at least for the sake of diversity!
Take: 1 kg cherry, 1 kg currant, 1 kg sugar.
Separate currant from bunches, put into a pan, grind and add half of the sugar norm. Set the pan on little fire, bring to the boil and boil for 15 minutes. Wash cherry, remove stones, pour into another pan, add the rest sugar, warm up during several minutes and put into the pan with currant. Mix the berries, set on moderate fire and bring to the boil. Go on boiling for 4-5 minutes.
Ready hot jam pour into prepared glass jars and pasteurize for 20 minutes with the temperature 95-100 degrees C.
Now enjoy this marvellous jam, which besides an excellent taste is very rich
