Roses are the best romantic flowers, their looks are tender and fragile, their fragrance is sweet and heady, and the only flaw these flowers have is thorns.
My idea is cultivating a new sort of roses through years of artificial selection. These roses would be pleasant to look, to smell and to touch. Perhaps the poets would hate it, because they tend to contrast the tenderness of rose petals and rigidity of their thorns,
