My crazy idea is creation of a device that will determine the freshness and eatability of vegetables. It can be done with a small hamster. It's well known that a replete hamster will never eat anything spoiled and containing nitrates. And neither will it stuff its cheeks with such food.

It's an absolutely mad idea, but I advise to sell usual home hamsters with such instruction: "Hamster trained for revealing nitrates and drugs. It perfectly determines the quality of vegetables. The model is certificated. The guarantee period is two years. (because it's the hamsters life interval).
I'd like to hear your comments on this crazy idea.
