You know, according to Darwin the random individual specificities turning out to be adaptive are inheritable, they get stored in genes. Hypothetically all these modifications can be tracked back to the initial set of chromosomes.
My idea is researching the evolution in backward order, step by step, generation to generation, back to the intitial life forms.
