talked Ron into meeting them at the Astronomy Tower at midnight. So, that night they discussed ways to keep safe from harm and other safety precautions while they were back in time. Hermione suggested the idea of a trip wire. They could place the wire around their beds and if someone stepped on it the intruder would be caught instantly. Ron was skeptic of Hermione's foreboding feelings but went along with it make her happy. He wasn't sure if there really was a mystery that needed solving. After all, they were in the past. Couldn't they get a break while they were there?

The three decided they would report any distrustful actions. They definitely wanted to get to the bottom of a few problems they'd unearthed. One major issue being why the Founders had so easily trusted the time travelers and their story. Many things didn't make sense, but they soon would.
