I've noticed that Dreamscat is all full of useful tips on dieting and healthy nutrition, leading a healthy lifestyle, getting rid of bad habits and other practical pieces of advice concerning self-improvement.
I've read all these and started questioning why we usually don't follow these easy tips knowing for sure that these will allow us maintain good health and develop the organism's vital functions.
I think that the main reason why we negate these practical tips is our system of values. You see, most people are brought-up in such a way so we would rather spend hours watching TV, surfing the Internet and playing computer games than exercising in a gym; we always prefer eating a sweet cake instead of healthy soy shoots; we prefer drinking beer instead of natural pomegranate juice. And you know why?
We prefer doing what brings more pleasure to us, because in our system of values pleasure usually has a higher priority than health. We acquire this tremendous drive for pleasure
