Do you want to dress up your kid in a butterfly costume? Ok, here is my idea how to do that without any problem.

Your girl should dress up elegant blouse and black-colored skirt. There must be knee-length sock and shoes on her feet. Let her put on hoop made of pasteboard skeleton and covered in black-colored material. Also don't forget to strengthen wired feelers with small balls at both ends.

General work is the making of the wings. Just take light in weight and monochromatic (white, yellow, pink or blue-colored) silk and cut out it in a semicircle shape. Stretch it out and apply paint to a surface. You may paint with moist colors or aniline dye such way as your imagination will prompt you. Remember that the pattern must be symmetrical. After dryout gather the tissue in the center and fix it on the girl's neck. The tips of the wings fix on the wrist.
