Bethany Hamilton is a surfer who began her career at 11 and was attacked by a shark when she was famous surfer. The shark bit off her arm but didn't destroy her will to continue surfing and realize her dream. She became even stronger and proved herself and the whole world that she can do it!

When the shark bit off 3/4 of her left arm, she lost lots of blood and was hospitalized. She not only survived but began her trainings after one month passed. She participated in the serious surfing competitions two months later after this tragedy. Many people were surprised when she began to surf so soon after the injury. And it was real shock for everybody when she won 5th place at the National Surfing Championships. She won three contests since the accident.

I think that such people are good examples for us! They inspire us never to give up and follow our dreams!
