I can tell you a simple trick you can play on your boss on the 1st of April.

The trick is absolutely harmless. If you company is not very large, and all people know each other well enough, you can play the trick easily and make laugh everybody.

My idea is to write an article, a special article for your boss. You can stick it at the door or board if there is one in the company. What the article should contain? Everything, in fact! It depends on your imagination. For example, you can write that your boss won a special amusing prize in a newspaper contest, or that he is the winner of Olympic Games in a fight competition, or you can simply write "Wanted" and create a funny charge, e.g. detaining employees after work, etc.
