Did you know that 60% of all conflicts among people are caused by inability to listen to our interlocutor. Somebody didn't catch the other's words, or misunderstood them, that led to discontent or resentment...and the conflict or offence is ready...

Did you notice that sometimes a person is said to be a good interlocutor and very pleasant to talk? But think about this statement more deeply, which qualities such person possesses?! Is he so clever or witty? No, in fact he can be far from being such! Instead he can patiently and attentively listen!
He is called a good company, however he can be silent most of the time... The only worthy quality this person possesses is abilitiy to listen.
No doubt, one should steer the happy medium - always keeping silent is not so good as well. So, my dream is that people, and my friends in particular, would learn to be attentive listeners. Then it would become easier to communicate with people and be a good interlocutor for them!
