I can think of the best possible way of meeting the New Year! I'm going to invite my girlfirend for a romantic evening in a tent on the very top of a skyscraper.
I just imagine - me and her, sitting wrapped in warm blankets on the top of the world, watching the glimmering lights of the stars above and ones the city celebrating the New year below... The New Year moon and Christy's beautiful face lighting up the deep-purple velvet bag of the last night of 2005... Absolute silence, the night city noises just cannot reach you...
Then... The very last minutes of 2005 - a storm of rockets and fireworks all around, booming sounds of petard explosions partially absorbed by the distance. And her kiss, the very first kiss she gives me in the new 2006 year...
