If you are going to arrange a party and doubt what to cook, I recommend you my favourite "African" salad! It's quite exotic and is almost to everybody's taste!
So, its ingredients:
150 g ham
4 bananas
8 dates
4 tbsp coconut chips
1 lemon juice and peel
200 g mayonnaise
2 tbsp chopped parsley and fennel
4 slices bread stick
2 tbsp butter

Pour sliced bananas by lemon juice.
Remove stones from dates and cut them in bits. Cut ham like straws.
Cut off crust from bread stick slices, cut them in half and fry over with butter from both sides.
Combine bananas, ham, dates, add coconut chips, peel, greens and mayonnaise, mix and put into a salad-dish. Serve toasts separately.
